Field Work at Powell Street Festival

On August 4th and 5th, the CCST participated in this event as a vender. We introduced shiatsu to the public. We had people receiving shiatsu who had come before and for others it was their first time to try out shiatsu. Our students are training to perform table shiatsu and explain shiatsu to public. This was a great opportunity for the students to gain more Shiatsu skills.
One lady from Burnaby who was 83 years old and using a cane, said she tried shiatsu at the Powell Street Festival last year. She said that she felt so much better, that she took transit to come back to our booth this year since Shiatsu was great for relieving her pain.
We were delighted to hear how much she enjoyed the treatment and had a very nice talk with her. Actually, we all had good time with everyone who visited our booth.
